Feedback– We needed to replace a very old boiler

Detail- We needed to replace a very old boiler in an old rambling house where we should have installed a pressurised system due to the size of the property and the number of bathrooms. For a number of reasons, we chose a Viessmann combi boiler and, so far, our decision has been a good one.

The boiler copes with the heating, 14 large radiators, and 2 baths and 2 showers with no issues. Obviously, it’s too early to talk about running costs as we are hardly into winter but so far, the bills have been well below our expectations. Overall, we are extremely happy with ‘big boy’ as we call him. Of course, it could be a girl we don’t know but I think it’s hard to offend a boiler.

Detail- The new boiler was installed and the next day it stopped working. A new Fan was installed and the next day it reported a new fault with the fan
This may sound like a disaster but Viessmann responded very quickly and got it resolved. The engineer was just amazing and called Saturday night to sort out the boiler. Running perfectly now and to be honest I do not expect anything further issues.
Have tested Viessmann support a lot earlier than I expected or wanted but they proved to be very helpful and pro-active. Would have been a 5-star review (6 stars for the engineer) but for the initial problems.
