How to relight a Worcester Greenstar boiler?
If your boiler is at any fault, you would notice the blue mains indicator light on your system to be flashing. That is when you should know that you need to reset your Worcester Greenstar boiler.
Now you might be wondering about the way you could reset your unit.
But before putting down the steps to reset you Worcester Greenstar boiler, you need to know that different models of the Greenstar range might have different ways to reset. That is why we have mentioned all the ways to reset the number of models available in the Worcester Greenstar range.
Worcester Greenstar CDi Classic Boiler Reset
- To begin, press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds.
- You will notice that the reset button and the flash indicator would stop flashing. If the reset gets successful, you would notice the boiler running to the normal position, while if in case the reset isn’t successful then the alert code will be displayed again and the blue fault light will continue to flash.

Worcester Greenstar Si & CDi Compact Boiler Reset
- In case of the CDi Compact boiler range, you simply need to press the reset button.
- If the boiler gets successfully reset then it would return to its normal operation while if in case the reset is not successful, the alert code will get displayed again and the blue operation light would continue to flash.

Worcester Greenstar i Boiler Reset
- To reset the appliance, you need to press reset briefly once.
- Reset and a tick would get display. If the reset gets successful, you would notice the boiler running to the normal position, while if in case the reset isn’t successful then the alert code will be displayed again and the blue fault light will continue to flash.

Worcester Greenstar i Junior Boiler Reset
- In case of a fault you would find the reset button to flash once per second and the blue indicator light to be continuously flashing.
- To reset the system you need to press the reset button for approximately 5 seconds.
- If the boiler successfully resets, you would find the reset button to be no longer illuminating and the mains indicator to be no longer flashing.

Worcester Greenstar Ri Boiler Reset
In case of a fault, you will find the blue mains indicator light to be flashing.
1) To begin resetting your system, you need to turn the central heating temperature knob anticlockwise to the RESET position and hold for around 5 seconds and then turn the knob back to the original temperature setting.
- When the boiler resets the mains indicator will no longer be flashing and the boiler would begin to function normally, dependent on the programmer and room thermostat settings.
- A reset fault condition will exist if the electrical power to the boiler has been interrupted. Reset the boiler again as described above.
